About the Event Format

The conference will be held on-site. There will be no live streaming.
Only some keynote sessions and postgraduate education programs will be available for on-demand viewing afterward.

Registration and Check-in Information

  • Registration can be done online only. There will be no on-site payment available.
  • On the day of the event, you will receive your name budge, participation certificate, luncheon seminar ticket (for pre-registered attendees only), the JUA Night ticket (for pre-registered attendees only), postgraduate education program ticket (for pre-registered attendees only), the URO FUN RUN ticket (for pre-registered attendees only), Meet the Expert ticket (for pre-registered attendees only), Hands-on Seminar ticket (for pre-registered attendees only), and Genome Role Play ticket (for pre-registered attendees only) from the pre-registration ticket issuing machine located inside the venue.
  • Members: Membership cards or membership card app QR codes will be scanned for issuance. Your attendance credit registration will be completed simultaneously with the issuance of the participation certificate (name budge).
  • Non-members: After pre-registering, please print out the “Registration Certificate” issued on your registration “My Page” in advance or prepare to display it on your phone or other device. When you scan the QR code of the “Registration Certificate” at the issuing machine, your participation certificate (name budge), participation certificate, and luncheon seminar ticket (for pre-registered attendees only) will be issued.

1 This registration fee only applies to participants residing outside of Japan, and whose abstracts have been accepted to present at the congress.

2 Please submit a letter from your study supervisor / supervising professor. Without the letter, student registration fee is not applicable. Also, please note that graduate students are not considered part of this category.

Participation Credit Registration

  • For on-site participants, registration credit registration will be completed by scanning your membership card or membership card app to the registration ticketing machine during registration.
  • For on-site participants, whether you have pre-registered or are registering on the day of the event, on-site check-in is required. Please note that registration is only available at Pacifico Yokohama Exhibition Hall D. There is no registration counter at Pacifico Yokohama North.
  • For web participants (on-demand viewing only), conference participation credit will be automatically granted upon viewing the program. Please note that if your viewing log cannot be confirmed, it will not be granted.

Cloakroom

We are unable to accept valuables or umbrellas.
Please confirm the opening and closing time when depositing items.
Please note that there may be slight time changes to accommodate the program schedules at each venue.

How to Download and Use

Search and download “JUA Abstracts” from the Apple App Store or Google Play and install.
Search for “111th Japan Urological Association Annual Meeting” or “jua2024” in the JUA Abstracts, and download the program information.

Pocket Program Booklet

We distribute them free of charge at the venue. There will be no advance mailing to members. Please note that there is a limited number available.

Co-sponsored Seminars (Luncheon Seminars, Morning Seminars, Evening Seminars, Sponsored Seminars, Hands-on Seminars)

  • For those who have made Luncheon Seminar reservations during pre-registration, seminar tickets will be issued at the on-site registration ticketing machine when you receive your name budge. You may be admitted if there are seats available on the day. Seminar tickets will be invalid 5 minutes after the start of the seminar.
  • There is no ticketing system for Morning Seminars, Evening Seminars; please come directly to the conference room. Light snacks will be provided.
  • There is no ticketing system for Sponsored Seminars either; please come directly to the room.
  • Pre-registration is required for Hands-on Seminars. For details, please refer to the website.

International Party

An opportunity for members to connect with international attendees. All are welcome to join.

“Kodo” Drum Mini Concert and the JUA Night

During the JUA Night, we will hold an awards ceremony for the Conference Awards and the International Best Presentation Award. We encourage your enthusiastic participation!

Other Notices

  • Smoking is prohibited in all conference venues.
  • On the day of the conference, we will not accept applications for JUA membership or payment of annual fees.
  • Please refrain from using mobile phones or other devices during sessions as they may disrupt the proceedings. Please switch off or set your device to silent mode. Recording, photography, or videography are not permitted inside the venue.
  • Generally, announcements will not be made within the venue.
  • It is strictly prohibited to record or photograph abstracts or slides (including images, videos, etc.) related to the conference and share them online (including social media).
  • For questions during sessions, please wait near the designated microphone area in the venue. When asking questions, please clearly state your affiliation and name and keep your remarks concise.
  • Snapshots will be taken during the conference. Thank you for your understanding.
