Travel Grants
Cancelation of English Session / Travel Grant from overseas
Due to COVID-19, English Session and Travel Grant from overseas are canceled
during the JSCA 2020 scheduled for November 12 (Thu) –14 (Sat), 2020.
Although English Session from overseas is canceled,
we still have a plan to hold the English Session presented by those living in Japan on-site.
For those not living in Japan,we have a plan to ask you to submit your presentation data
for On-Demand Presentation.
We will publish our Program and Abstract Booklet of the JSCA 2020
and we would like to include all English Sessions.
For more details about your presentation slide, etc., we will inform you later.
Travel Grants for Young Doctors in Asia
The organizing committee of the 40th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Clinical Anesthesia is offering a limited number of Travel Grants. This program aims to increase attendance of young Asian anesthesiologists at the meeting by providing funds for their traveling.
To the venue, Yonago Airport or Izumo Airport are the nearest airaports. For more details, please click here.
Eligibility
To be considered for a travel grant, each applicant must:
（１） be age of 40 or younger at the time of the annual meeting;
（２） work in an Asian country/region except Japan*1;
（３） be the first author of a submitted abstract and present at “English Session” of 40JSCA*2.
*1 A Japanese who temporally lives and works in an Asian country/region is not eligible.
*2 Co-authors are not eligible.

Please submit the followings *2 April 15 (Wed), 2020 (JST) June 15 (Mon), 2020 23:59 (JST) Travel Grant is now closed.
Incomplete or late applications will NOT be accepted.
- a) a letter of recommendation from your institution or department head;
- b) recommendation letter from your country or region’s Anesthesiologists Society (submission recommended);
- c) curriculum vitae (CV) (maximum of two pages) including previous awards, education, publications, research activities and further information deemed relevant;
- d) Employment Certificate;
- e) Photocopy of your passport (Scanned Bio Page of the passport showing the Photograph and Details).
*1 No matter how many abstracts an applicant submits, she/he can be awarded only one (1) grant.
*2 a), c), d), e) are mandatory, while b) is optional. We strongly recommend submitting ALL items so as to make application-consideration process smoother.
Notification
Notification of Acceptance for the Abstract/Travel Grants will be sent in May. Details (Date & Time, etc.) will be sent in July.
Due to the postponement of the Abstract and Travel Grant, Notification might be later than scheduled.
What the Grant Covers
- 1) 100,000 yen
- 2) 40JSCA’s registration fee
- 3) 40JSCA’s Work shop registration fee
