Information for Presenters

Instruction For Chairmans and Speakers

1．The presentation time

The presentation time for each session is as follows. All speakers are asked to keep to the allocated presentation time.

2．Presentation Instructions

  • When you are the next one in line to give your presentation, please be seated on “the Next Speakers’ Seat” in the lecture room no later than 15min. prior to the session start.
  • A mouse, and clicker with a laser pointer will be provided at the podium.
  • Regardless of whether you bring your presentation data or your own PC, please use the mouse, and clicker with laser pointer provided at the podium.
  • Presenters are responsible for operating the equipment on the podium by themselves. The operator will display the first slide of your presentation; from the second slide onward, please advance or go back using the podium equipment on your own.
  • Presenter View is not available.

3．Presentation Data

Please note: that there will be no Speaker Ready Desk at WCIC2025.

  1. The files submitted to the Secretariat by August 29 will be used for your presentation.
  2. For those who have not submitted their files by the above deadline:
    • Please save your data on a USB memory stick and hand it directly to the operator’s desk located at the front left of the lecture room podium no later than 30 minutes before the start of your session.
  3. If you are bringing your own PC:
    • Please bring your PC to the operator’s desk located at the front left of the lecture room podium no later than 30 minutes before the start of your session.
    • The PC connection available in the venue is HDMI. If your device requires an adapter or converter, please make sure to bring your own.

4．Information about Wordly (AI-Simultaneous Interpretation Service)

Wordly, an AI-Simultaneous interpretation service will be available during the conference sessions.
No special arrangements are required from the presenters.
The content spoken by each presenter will be translated in real time into the language selected by each participant and displayed on their smartphone or laptop screen.

4. Contents Submission for Proceedings e-Book【Deadline：30th April 2025】

1） Data Format

Please submit either a Word document or selected slides (all or part) from your presentation for the Proceedings.
The choice between Word or PowerPoint data is up to the presenters, so please decide and submit accordingly.

5．Regarding presentation data【Deadline： 31st July 2025】

1） Data Format

  • For the title page, please use the following presentation data format. You are welcome to add photos or other images to the empty spaces.
  • For the pages following the title page, if you wish, you can change the background design for each presenter, but please ensure that the WCIC2025 logo is displayed in the top-right corner.

  • Please create your slides with a 16:9 aspect ratio（4:3 is not allowed）.
  • Any data from Keynote data by Apple cannot be used.
  • The PCs, provided at the venue, will run PowerPoint 21 on Windows 10. Windows 11 is also acceptable, but if you have concerns from the compatible perspective between your digital data and the designated PC, please submit a digital copy of PDF files as well.
