The Japan Foundry Society Inc. (JFS) is pleased to announce that the upcoming 16th World Conference on Investment Casting (WCIC2025) will be held in Kobe, Japan, in collaboration with the Investment Casting Institute (ICI) in the United States and the European Investment Casters Federation (EICF). The 16th World Conference will mark 13 years since the WCIC was first held in Japan in Kyoto in 2012 (WCIC2012).

Kobe, a government-designated city conveniently located near the Kansai International Airport (KIX), is a destination for many international conferences, highlighted by countless tourist attractions scattered throughout Kobe City and the greater Kansai area. Many events, such as lectures, exhibitions, and factory tours, will be held during the convention.

We are pleased to announce that the 16th World Conference on Investment Casting (WCIC2025) will take place on September 9th to the 12th, 2025, with the beautiful Kobe Convention Center as the main venue.

WCIC2025 will feature an exhibition from the first to the third day, and lectures on the latest technology and product development information from around the world will take place on the second and third days. On the final day, you may choose one of four factory tours to gain insight into the latest technologies in Japanese investment casting. In addition, delicious Kobe cuisine with Japanese Sake and other beverages will be served during the reception and banquet to welcome guests from all over the world.

Although the WCIC was postponed from 2024 to 2025 due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we are excited to finally hold this conference in Japan, where industry professionals can meet, discuss, and collaborate. Now is the most opportune time to develop cooperation and communication through the WCIC.

The WCIC Organizing Committee is pleased to host the WCIC 2025 in Kobe in September 2025. We hope that many industry professionals will participate in the conference.
