Call for abstracts (English Oral/Poster)

Those who wish to submit an abstract for English oral/poster must prepare the abstract following the instruction below and submit it by e-mail.

Abstract submission has been closed.

1. Please submit your abstract using >Excel format.
2. In each abstract, please include the following:
   • Author’s name
   • Institution
   • Contact information (E-mail, Postal address, Phone number)
   • Abstract title and body
3. The abstract body must be 250 words or less. Your application will not be accepted if the abstract body exceeds 250 words. The abstract body should consist of “Background”, “Method”, “Result”, “Discussion” and “Conclusion”.
4. Please e-mail your abstract to Congress Secretariat (70jsdt-overseas@convention.co.jp) by January 8 (Wed.), 2025.
   The subject of your e-mail must be “JSDT2025 Abstract Submission for International Session”
   The congress chair reserves the right of acceptance/rejection for all submitted abstracts.

Appendix

We recommend signing up for the travel insurance including COVID-19 infection before visiting Japan.
Authors who require VISAs are able to make request to the secretariat for an invitation letter as the supporting document for VISA application.
Please note that accommodations should be paid and arranged by the applicants themselves.

Applications for Travel Grants

The amount of the travel grants will vary according to the World Bank criteria.Those from lower-middle-income countries or low-income countries will receive 100,000 yen, those from distant upper-middle-income countries will receive 70,000 yen, and those from nearby upper-middle-income countries and high-income countries will receive 50,000 yen.
All presenters will receive a complimentary registration for the 70th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Dialysis Therapy in 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements

1. Applicants from high-income countries must be 40 years old or younger on 31 May 2025. There are no age requirements for applicants from lower middle income countries and upper middle income countries or low-income countries.
2. Only the first author of the 24 selected abstracts will be awarded a travel grant. Even if several abstracts are accepted for the same author, only one abstract per author will receive a travel grant.
3. Young overseas doctors/researchers living outside Japan who are not Japanese citizens. (Japanese citizens living abroad are not eligible for this grant.)
