In recent years, the clinical guidelines for thyroid cancer management in Japan and the USA have increasingly aligned under the banner of risk-adapted management, emphasizing a "less is more" approach. However, some differences still exist. It is also a fact that the United States has made significant advances in pharmacotherapy. Through discussions with invited international experts, we aim to gain insights from the American perspective and seek clues for addressing future research questions.
