Residents and fellows must upload a certificate of employment with an official seal by the head of department, while Students must upload either a student ID or an approval letter signed by the head of department. PDF, JPG, GIF and PNG files are acceptable.

How to Register

Online registration and payment are required even for on-site attendance.
There will be no on-site registration or payment desk at the venue.
  1. Please be sure to read this page thoroughly until the end.
  2. Once you have finished reading, please proceed with the online registration using the button below.
  3. The payment screen will appear at the end of the registration process. Please complete the payment using a credit card.
  4. After registration, you will receive a confirmation email. Your registration will be considered complete upon receipt of this email.
  5. Cancellations, removal of double registrations, and/or refunds will NOT be accepted under any circumstances after payment is completed.

Entry and Visa Requirements

Visa for Entering Japan

Your passport should be valid for the duration of your stay in Japan. Citizens of 71 countries/regions do not require a visa to enter Japan. Please check if the Japanese government requires you to have a visa for entry.

  • If you require a visa, you will need an invitation letter from the Congress Secretariat for the visa application. Please review the instructions from the Congress Secretariat, download and complete the Itinerary in Japan document, and complete the Congress Secretariat’s form.
  • It is recommended that you apply for your visa by the end of June. If you need to provide a conference brochure, you can download one here.

Registration Changes

You can edit your registration information through the online Service Counter.
Please note that some information, such as your name and registration category, cannot be changed.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations, removal of double registrations, and/or refunds will NOT be accepted under any circumstances after payment is completed.
Any changes involving a change in amount cannot be accepted after payment. Please be sure to review your registration carefully.
