The Owen Cole Scholarship Award<\/h2>\n

\n \n Dr. Owen Cole was a much loved and admired Plastic Surgeon who chaired the scientific committee of the 7th International Congress in Broadbeach, Australia, in 1993. His tragic death shortly before the Congress touched many in the international community and at the 8th International Congress in Singapore, the Owen Cole Memorial Scholarship was established and first awarded in his honor.\n <\/p>\n

\n Now awarded at each International Congress and funded by the Australasian Cleft Lip and Palate Association\u2019s Education Fund, the Scholarship is an important award for young professionals involved in the management of cleft lip and palate and craniofacial anomalies. This award represents an opportunity to remember our friends and colleagues who have given so much to cleft and craniofacial care in the past, but also allows us to look to the future and reward one of the international community\u2019s promising young investigators.\n <\/p>\n

Eligibility<\/h3>\n

\n The Owen Cole Memorial Scholarship is presented to the best Junior Investigator presentation at the Congress, as judged by the Junior Investigator committee. The award consists of a return economy class airfare, from the winner\u2019s country of origin, to attend the meeting plus a grant of US$2500 and a commemorative engraved plate. \n <\/p>\n

Judging Process<\/h3>\n

\n Presentations will be shortlisted based on the accepted abstracts.

The Circle of Cleft Professionals (CoCP) Award<\/h2>\n

\n \n The Circle of Cleft Professionals (CoCP) is a network of more than 900 multidisciplinary cleft care professionals across 6 continents who share an interest in promoting Comprehensive Cleft Care (CCC) in resource-constrained contexts. CoCP members participate in regular webinars, capacity-building events, present research, and collaborate in developing practical solutions for local team-based care in low and middle-income countries (LMICs). The CoCP is sponsored by 10 leading international cleft NGOs.\n <\/p>\n

Eligibility<\/h3>\n

\n The CoCP Award ($1500 USD) recognizes research that promises to have a significant positive impact upon the development and enhancement of Comprehensive Cleft Care (CCC) in low and middle-income country (LMIC<\/u><\/a>) contexts.
At least one contributing author will reside in a LMIC<\/u><\/a> context. Presentations will be shortlisted based on the submitted abstracts.\n <\/p>\n\n

Judging Process<\/h3>\n

\n The paper, poster or workshop will be judged on content, presentation, the authors\u2019 handling of discussion and will be resonant with a multidisciplinary, team-based<\/b> and locally-rooted<\/b> approach to cleft care. The decision of the adjudication panel is final.\n <\/p>\n<\/section><\/div><\/div>

CLEFT 2025 Scholarship<\/h2>\n

In accordance with the ICCPCA constitution, CLEFT2025 is offering 10 Scholarships, up to \u00a5250,000 to cover travel, accommodation and registration to attend CLEFT2025 from low and middle-income country (LMIC<\/a>) as specified by the World Bank as of 2023.<\/p>\n
