Precautions regarding personal information<\/h2>\n<p>From the perspective of protecting personal information, we request that presentations at the academic conference adhere to the Japanese Society of Pediatric Neurology&#8217;s &#8220;Guidelines on the Protection of Patient Privacy&#8221; and refrain from displaying any information that could identify patients or other related parties. In particular, for video data that inevitably shows patients&#8217; facial expressions, such as seizure videos, we require that patient consent has been obtained. Furthermore, recording, photographing, or videotaping presentations at this academic conference is strictly prohibited. We appreciate the cooperation of all participants.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><div id=\"panel-12-0-0-1\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_text\" data-index=\"1\" >\t\t\t<div class=\"textwidget\"><h2>2. Invitation to the Chairperson<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Please come to the chairperson&#8217;s seat at the front right of the venue 15 minutes before your session begins.<\/li>\n<li>General presentations (oral presentations) and International Sessions (Platform Presentations) should be conducted within a 10-minute time limit (7 minutes for presentation, 3 minutes for Q&#038;A). Please begin your session as soon as the allotted time arrives.<\/li>\n<li>Presentation times will be timed in the presentation rooms. A yellow light will illuminate at the podium and the chairperson&#8217;s seat two minutes before the end of the presentation time, and a red light will illuminate at the end of the presentation time. Please be considerate and ensure that the session does not end late.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><div id=\"panel-12-0-0-2\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_text\" data-index=\"2\" >\t\t\t<div class=\"textwidget\"><h2>3. To the presenters<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Presentation Time and Format<br \/>\u2460 General presentations (oral presentations) and International Sessions (Platform Presentations) will have a 7-minute presentation time followed by a 3-minute Q&#038;A session. Please follow the instructions of the session chair regarding the start and end of each presentation. Presentation times will be timed in each oral presentation venue. A yellow light will illuminate on the podium and the chair&#8217;s desk 2 minutes before the end of the presentation time, and a red light will illuminate at the end of the presentation time, so please use these as a guide for the presentation time.<br \/>\u2461 Presentation times for sessions other than those mentioned above will be as previously announced. Please follow the instructions of the session chair regarding the start and end of your presentation.<\/li>\n<li>Presentation format:<br \/>All sessions are PC presentations only. Presenters in the International Session (Platform Presentation) must prepare their data in English and present in English. The language of presentations for general abstracts is Japanese, but please use English for slides whenever possible to ensure they are easily understood by international participants.<\/li>\n<li>Please be sure to clearly indicate the source of any figures or tables cited in your presentation slides. The first author, source, and year are mandatory.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><div id=\"panel-12-0-0-3\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_text\" data-index=\"3\" >\t\t\t<div class=\"textwidget\"><h2>4. Data preview and acceptance<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Previews and data submission for presentations will be handled at the PC reception desk during the hours listed below. Please note that data cannot be submitted anywhere other than the PC reception desk. Therefore, please disclose this information when presenting.<br \/>\nRegardless of whether or not you have a COI, please disclose it at the beginning or on the second slide of your presentation. You can find<br \/>\nthe COI disclosure format <a href=\"https:\/\/site-convention-co-jp.translate.goog\/childneuro2026\/jscn68\/coi\/?_x_tr_sl=ja&#038;_x_tr_tl=en&#038;_x_tr_hl=ja&#038;_x_tr_pto=wapp\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a> .<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><div id=\"panel-12-0-0-5\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_text\" data-index=\"5\" >\t\t\t<div class=\"textwidget\"><h3>\u2461 Please prepare the presentation data according to the following instructions.<\/h3>\n<h4>a. Available computers<\/h4>\n<div class=\"su-table su-table-alternate\"><\/p>\n<table>\n<tr>\n<th style=\"width: 25%\">Windows<\/th>\n<td>Presentations using USB storage or laptops are permitted, but we would appreciate it if you would avoid bringing laptops and instead bring media instead.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>Macintosh<\/th>\n<td>Please bring your own Macintosh. Bringing data created on a Macintosh on other media is not permitted.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n<p><\/div>\n<h4>b. Use of video and audio<\/h4>\n<p>The presentation venue will be equipped to handle video and audio output. If you are bringing presentation data that includes video, please ensure it is in a format compatible with Windows Media Player (MP4 format is recommended). Please be careful of broken links when using video. After copying the completed PowerPoint file to a USB storage device or other media, you can test the video on a PC other than the one used to create the presentation. If it plays correctly, there should be no problem. If your presentation includes video, we recommend bringing your own PC.<\/p>\n<h4>c. Bringing in data on USB storage<\/h4>\n<div class=\"su-table su-table-alternate\"><\/p>\n<table>\n<tr>\n<th style=\"width: 25%\">Creation of presentation data<br \/><img src=\"\/childneuro2026\/jscn68\/en\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/img01_speaker.png\" style=\"max-width:100px\" alt=\"\"><\/th>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li>Please create this using a Windows 7 or later operating system.<\/li>\n<li>The application recommends a 16:9 aspect ratio, but it can also support 4:3 (the screen will appear slightly smaller).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>Total data volume<\/th>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li>There is no limit on the total amount of data, but please prepare your data so that your presentation can be completed within the allotted time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>How to submit data<\/th>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li>Media format: We accept USB storage devices. Please make a copy and bring it with you.<\/li>\n<li>Please save your presentation data in a folder named &#8220;Presentation Number + Your Name&#8221;. This folder should only contain the PowerPoint file used for your presentation (including any video files, if any).<\/li>\n<li>Data acceptance and return: If you bring in data on a USB storage device, we will only copy the data at the PC reception desk, and the media will be returned to you on the spot.<\/li>\n<li>Data submission time: Please submit your presentation data to the PC reception desk at least one hour before your presentation<br \/>\n        (early morning presenters should complete the submission 30 minutes before their presentation or by the day before).<\/li>\n<li>All presentation data will be deleted by the conference organizing committee after the conference concludes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><div id=\"panel-12-0-0-6\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_text\" data-index=\"6\" >\t\t\t<div class=\"textwidget\"><h4>d.
