Call for Abstracts

The 65th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Dialysis Therapy encourages the doctors from various countries to submit papers on clinical studies and basic research in the International Session (oral/poster presentations).

The oral presentation is 10 min. including questions and answers. The poster presentation is 5 min. including questions and answers in front of your poster and chairperson.

Presentations at the Annual Meeting must be given only in English by the first author himself/herself. Do not use translators.

Call for abstracts (English Oral/Poster Session)

Those who wish to submit an abstract for English oral/poster sessions must prepare the abstract following the instructions below and submit it by e-mail.
The abstract submission deadline is January 31 (Fri.), 2020.
Abstract submission has been closed.

1.

Please submit your abstract as a Microsoft Word (doc. Or docx.) or text (txt.) file.

2.

In each abstract, please include the following:

  • Author’s name
  • Institution
  • Contact address (E-mail address, Postal address, Telephone number)
  • Abstract title and body

3.

The abstract body must be 250 words or less. Your application will not be accepted if the abstract body exceeds 250 words. The abstract body should consist of “Background”, “Method”, “Result”, “Discussion” and “Conclusion”.
Any types of articles(Case reports or scientific studies) can be submitted. However, the topics are limited to the dialysis related subjects.

Please e-mail your abstract to Congress Secretariat <65jsdt-e@convention.co.jp> by January 31 (Fri.), 2020.
The subject of your e-mail must be “65JSDT Abstract Submission_English Oral / Poster.”
The congress chair reserves the right of acceptance/rejection for all submitted abstracts

  • We recommend signing up for the travel insurance before visiting Japan.

    The author who requires VISA is able to request the secretariat to prepare the invitation letter and supporting document for VISA application.

Applications for Travel Grants

This year the Japanese Society for Dialysis Therapy has decided to give travel grants to attend the Annual Meeting to the first authors of the 20 best rated abstracts in the international session.

The amount of travel grants will differ according to the World Bank Criteria. The recipients who are from lower-middle income countries or low-income countries will receive a 100,000Yen travel grant, and the recipients who are from upper-middle-income countries or high-income countries will receive a 50,000Yen travel grant. All recipients regardless of the amount of travel grants will receive a complimentary registration to attend the 65th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Dialysis Therapy in 2020.
* This travel grant is not applied to Japanese.

The recipient of the grant is asked to bring the following two items to receive the grant to the secretariat:
1)A certificate which will be given after the presentation
2)Passport

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Applicants from upper-middle-income countries or high-income countries must be 40 years old or younger as of May 31, 2020. There are no age requirements for applicants from lower-middle income countries or low-income countries.
2. A travel grant will be awarded solely to the first author of the 20 selected abstracts. Even if more than one abstract for the same author are accepted, the travel grant will be provided only for one abstract per one author.
